Dough Box Made To Order

dough box from Brookside CreationsThis plain & simple dough box is a variation on an early American primitive design. While no longer used for the original purpose as mentioned in an earlier post, the piece serves handily in several capacities. It is just the right height as a chairside table and the top surface is perfect for a book or newspaper, reading glasses and your beverage of choice. The storage capacity under the hinged lid also broadens the scope of possibilities. Several days worth of kindling is always at hand with this piece near the hearth, or for storing a quilt.

This item as shown is constructed from single board pine with a cherry wood top. The base is finished in a satin black lacquer with natural-looking "rub-through" and soft distressing. The top is finished in a neutral, warm cherry tone.

Measurements of this particular piece are 25"L x 24"H x 12"D O.A.

This item is available as shown , in other available colors, or in solid wood -stained tones. Price: $235 + $45 s&h. Ships in 2-3 weeks.

*Quilt shown is in an Ocean Waves pattern
